Baked goods are the backbone of a village cafe. Ours are set out in the display case each morning so you can see exactly what is available rather than guessing from a menu board — point at what you want and we will bag it. Selection changes through the day, and the earlier you come in, the fuller the case.
A pastry and a coffee is the fastest breakfast in Lake Louise village and one of the more affordable ones, which is why it is the standard order for guests catching an early shuttle to the lake or Moraine Lake Road. It also travels well: ask for it bagged and it will still be intact when you stop for a break on the trail.
What You Will Find in the Case
Expect a mix of sweet and savoury baked goods through the day — the sort of thing you want alongside a hot coffee at 7 AM or as a mid-afternoon pick-me-up. Ask the team what came out most recently and they will point you at it.
Pastries to Take on the Trail
Lake Louise days are long, and food options thin out quickly once you leave the village. Guests regularly buy a couple of pastries to carry up to the lakeshore, the teahouse trails or the gondola. We bag everything so it survives the day pack.
