Freshly brewed coffee is what most guests walk into Cafe Lake Louise for, and it is the drink we put the most care into. Every batch is ground and brewed on site, held only briefly, and replaced through the morning rush so that the last cup of the pot tastes like the first. You will find us on Village Road, a short walk from Samson Mall, the Lake Louise Inn and the village bus stops.
Because we open at 7:00 AM every day of the week, we are one of the easiest places in Lake Louise village to get a hot coffee before the shuttles leave for the lake or Moraine Lake Road. Order it black, add cream and sugar at the counter, or size up to a large for the drive along the Trans-Canada Highway.
Brewed Fresh Through the Day
We brew to demand rather than leaving a pot sitting all morning. That matters at altitude, where a long day outdoors starts early — a fresh, hot coffee at 7 AM tastes very different from one that has been standing since opening. Ask what has just been brewed and we will tell you.
Coffee for Early Starts and Long Days
Guests take our coffee up to the Lake Louise lakeshore, onto the Plain of Six Glaciers trail, into the gondola line-up and onto tour buses heading for Banff. Every takeaway cup goes out with a secure lid and a sleeve so it survives the walk and the cold, which is why so many hikers, skiers and resort staff make us their first stop.
